Our Data Scientists deliver proactive, innovative and insightful data products via agile philosophies and cloud technologies.

You'll work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver data science solutions, as the link between operational, technical and analytical teams.

We're looking for someone energised by discovering patterns in data, and motivated to embed that insight in products.

You passion for Data Science will enable innovative ways to support service transformation, optimize service delivery and increase customer experience using techniques such as process mining, optimization, machine learning, and prediction.

Our Tech / Your Skills

  • You will work with a wide range of data originating from the Operational systems, via cloud, utilising your expert skills in SQl/R/Python.
  • You have the technical versatility to pick up new technologies or languages relevant to the data manipulation, data analytics and data visualisation domain.
  • Academic background in Maths, Statistics, Computer Science (or similar experience and aptitude).
  • You will lead multiple data science projects, defining timescales and scope of sprints, MVPs etc, and applying 80:20 thinking.
  • You're a role-model for analytics development best practices, with commitment to quality assurance of predictive models and demonstrate ethical considerations such as unintended biases.
  • You can communicate data-driven insights clearly and with impact, orally and in writing, using story-telling to get your message home
  • Hands-on experience delivering innovative, data driven solutions and model building on large and/or complex data sets including linking disparate data, extensive data manipulation, iteration of analytical techniques and visualisation of the results.
  • You have deep appreciation of the relative benefits and shortcomings of different analytics techniques (e.g. NLP, neural networks, deep learning etc) and know how to drive adoption.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
