The Head Investment Performance and Risk will:
The Candidate:
Proven team management experience within Investment Performance.
Minimum of 5 years' relevant Performance Analysis / Investment Risk Analysis work experience with direct exposure to calculating and interpreting performance including performance evaluations and performance attribution.
Exposure to equity, fixed income and multi asset.
FactSet and APX knowledge - advantageous.
Advanced knowledge of Excel - understanding of VBA -advantageous.
Strong analytical skills of complex performance and risk data.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Team Player with ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Serve as the main contact point for the Performance and Risk team, fielding queries and escalated issues.
- Redesign and enhance investment performance team processes and procedures.
- Establish and oversee a robust oversight model to monitor and ensure data quality and timely delivery of accurate data, analytics, and reporting.
- Oversee the process for checking and analysis of performance of all investment accounts.
- Manage production of contribution/attribution analysis on client accounts and Internal Investment Funds.
- Check and provide risk analysis on all investments/models/funds on an ex-post and ex-ante basis.
- Build-out the contribution, attribution, and risk functionality on Advent APX.
- Develop and publish high quality, accurate BAU and ad-hoc performance measurement and analytics reporting for Investment and Client teams.
- Calculate and validate calculated returns, performance attribution, risk analytics and benchmarks.
- Manage vendor relationships i.e data providers such as Bloomberg.
