The firm deploys capital from two dedicated PE funds plus can write tickets of up to £500m from a long-standing relationship with a prominent family office.
The firm is sector and country agnostic; has flexible capital; an impressive track record and an enviable working culture.
Salary is dependent on experience but up to a maximum of £90k; discretionary, performance-related bonus up to 100%. Conversations are ongoing (internally) to offer a share of carried interest in the various vehicles to the successful candidate, at the appropriate time. However, this is not currently in place. Signs are positive it will be in the future.
The successful candidate will be well-trained, have strong financial modelling skills, excellent work ethic and commercial acumen. They will either be working for an investment bank (M&A), corporate finance boutique or private equity. It is likely they will have 18 months to 2 years' relevant experience.
This is a full-time, office-based role; my client does not offer a hybrid working model. Candidates must be comfortable going into the office 5 days a week.
Unfortunately, my client does not offer visa sponsorship, so each applicant must be able to demonstrate an ability to work in the UK unrestricted.

- Assist senior members of the team with the analysis of potential investment opportunities across the different stages of due diligence.
- Create and review detailed financial models.
- Contributing to the negotiation and to various due diligence work-streams.
- Drafting and presenting investment memos.
- Assist in all aspects of portfolio management, including working closely with management teams globally.
- Take part of the origination of new investment opportunities.
- Perform company and sector-wide market research.
