Job Purpose

To provide first line support to all users of the Aladdin platform and work closely with the business and BlackRock to develop and improve the platform ensuring that the full functionality is available for users.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day to day running of Aladdin, providing first line technical support to all business teams.
• Work closely with all areas of the business, understand their technology requirements and where possible ensure that they have the tools / functionality required to be able to undertake their roles.
• Work closely with BlackRock to understand all Aladdin changes / enhancements and any impact on Newton Product teams. Work closely with the business to roll out functionality.
• Work closely with the business lines to understand current and future requirements in relation to Aladdin and with both the business and BlackRock to deliver appropriate solutions
• Provide comprehensive training to all new joiners and refresher training to existing staff. This will include maintaining a database of training / cheat sheets etc.
• Provide accurate and appropriate management information to Senior Management.
• Keep up to date with regulatory changes.
• To undertake specific projects as requested by the Head of Aladdin Support.
• Work closely with the BlackRock Aladdin Relationship manager to build and maintain an excellent working relationship.
