Business Analyst: (IBOR Cessation for IBO)

Responsibilities

Interface with global business stakeholders across all levels and understand the business needs
Document, prioritize, and communicate both functional and non-functional requirements and specifications
Gather and elaborate requirements from end users, whilst working with stakeholders of different levels.
Support requirement review sessions with project stakeholders.
Provide support for end-to-end project delivery, by analyzing risks to deadlines, leading status meetings, and tracking dependencies.
Positive engagement with Business, Group Finance, Group Risk and other Technology/ Operation partners
Support the analysis and data quality of attributes such that our downstream consumers in Group Risk and Group Finance can rely on the quality of incoming data
Manage and escalate the operational risk of controls run by the onshore and offshore teams
Participate in strategic change initiatives by acting as subject matter expert

Requirements

3+ years prior experience working as a Business Analyst or Product Manager, Investment Research experience a plus
Good understanding of Agile Methodology
Ability to work effectively with a geographically distributed and culturally diverse team of global stakeholders
Ability to create a range of polished and high-quality deliverables, including written business requirements, use cases, and process flows
Ability to self-prioritize and effectively manage project planning and execution
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for building strong relationships with a wide variety of peers and business-facing internal clients
Experience with Operations, Middle Office and within Change, Projects Management
ideally 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar operational risk and control function, financial services background would be a plus
Ability to analyse problems and provide solutions.
