Responsibilities
Requirements
- Interface with global business stakeholders across all levels and understand the business needs
- Document, prioritize, and communicate both functional and non-functional requirements and specifications
- Gather and elaborate requirements from end users, whilst working with stakeholders of different levels.
- Support requirement review sessions with project stakeholders.
- Provide support for end-to-end project delivery, by analyzing risks to deadlines, leading status meetings, and tracking dependencies.
- Positive engagement with Business, Group Finance, Group Risk and other Technology/ Operation partners
- Support the analysis and data quality of attributes such that our downstream consumers in Group Risk and Group Finance can rely on the quality of incoming data
- Manage and escalate the operational risk of controls run by the onshore and offshore teams
- Participate in strategic change initiatives by acting as subject matter expert
Requirements
- 3+ years prior experience working as a Business Analyst or Product Manager, Investment Research experience a plus
- Good understanding of Agile Methodology
- Ability to work effectively with a geographically distributed and culturally diverse team of global stakeholders
- Ability to create a range of polished and high-quality deliverables, including written business requirements, use cases, and process flows
- Ability to self-prioritize and effectively manage project planning and execution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for building strong relationships with a wide variety of peers and business-facing internal clients
- Experience with Operations, Middle Office and within Change, Projects Management
- ideally 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar operational risk and control function, financial services background would be a plus
- Ability to analyse problems and provide solutions.
