Our client is a well-established and long running accountancy and consultancy firm based in London (although the role is mainly working from home).
The Project Manager role involves:
• Initiate and actively manage a portfolio of projects ranging in sizes, and including multi-streamed projects with significant strategic and/or commercial impact
• Initiate and actively manage large, multi-streamed projects with significant strategic and/or commercial impact
• Working with key stakeholders to understand inflight and emerging requirements
• The day to day management of key projects being the 'voice of the business' into them
• Helping plan and design 'outcome focused' projects, monitoring progress against agreed parameters, identifying key risks, resolving issues and initiating timely corrective action
Key Competencies:
• Guide and supervise less experienced colleagues / stakeholders
• Experience with Clients and Markets
• Support, train, mentor and advise others in Operations PMO
• Challenge current practices - driving improvements and championing change
• Take personal responsibility for own decision and actions and those of others
• Project Planning (incl. dependency and capacity management)
• Project Delivery /Work package Oversight
• Stakeholder Engagement (incl. presentation skills)
