Arrow established its independent fund management business and closed its first flagship c.EUR 1.7 billion fund in 2020 and is now in the process of raising its second fund. As part of the growth of this division, Arrow has recently established a new Operations Department. The Operations Department is a critical function to the continued growth and success of the Fund Business. It aims to provide support and structure to the fund through the deal / fund lifecycle to enable effective management and scalability. As a result we now are recruiting an Operations Admin Executive to join the team. This is a permanent role and will be based at our Manchester office with some home working.

What will you be doing?

The Operations Admin Executive will work as part of the Fund Managers Operations team to assist in general fund operational matters, including data entry, and help develop and embed new operational processes to ensure new transactions are effectively managed. The role will include:
  • Tracking and reporting on new transactions to ensure teams are kept up to date
  • Entering transactional and vehicle related data into the Fund Management System
  • Ensuring the Fund Management System is kept up to date, including identifying gaps in information, obtaining and entering information
  • Taking committee minutes, capturing actions and reporting on progress
  • Managing and updating the documents library, including tracking any outstanding legal documents
  • Maintaining and updating the library of processes
  • Project managing items such as the opening and closing of bank or custody accounts
  • Assist in setting up or closing vehicles/entities
  • Working with external Service Providers and alongside internal teams to assist in managing fund entities within the structure and dealing with any BAU matters
  • Working alongside the fund legal, finance, tax, investment and portfolio management teams to assist in establishing and implementing processes in relation to managing investments within the fund structure
  • Assisting in managing any changes in Service Providers and any associated onboarding requirements
  • General process optimisation and implementation

Is this you?
  • Experience in Financial Services (Banking, Accountancy or Fund Management) and/or prior Paralegal experience within an asset management or banking environment
  • Experience in middle/back office is desirable
  • Previously had roles working with numerous internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously and escalate key issues to relevant team members
  • Good project management skills
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Excellent problem- solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
