What we are looking for:

Reporting to Head of Distribution - Europe and Asia, you will focus on raising capital for a range of top-tier public and private market investment strategies. The focus of the role will be on the Institutional Channel across Nordics but will also collaborate closely with Distribution colleagues to develop our profile with Benelux region.

Your responsibilities:
  • Lead Business development across our focus channel(s) in the defined geographies;
  • Develop a comprehensive business plan to win new business for Fiera from a pre-identified and focussed list of prospective investors;
  • Pro-actively introduce Fiera Capitals investment strategies into the relevant markets via calls/ roadshows / webinars and support the company's long-term sales strategy;
  • Retain and develop Fiera Capitals existing client base in the defined geographies if required or as designated;
  • Work closely with marketing, investment manufacturing and compliance teams to efficiently deliver thought leadership insights to enhance customer relationships;
  • Support the implementation of marketing strategies to achieve sales in accordance with the budget and agreed performance targets;
  • Collaborate with other Distribution team members in the development and implementation of business building strategies;
  • Obtain feedback from the market and ensure best practice knowledge management;
  • Provide local market insights and input on potential new products or business ideas;
  • Deliver regular and upon-request management reporting;
  • Manage key client accounts in close co-operation with your line manager and other stakeholders such as the Investment Team managing the portfolio(s);
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of key competitors and relevant market developments;
  • Build brand identity through the totality of your investor interaction activities;
  • Any ad-hoc or regular duties/projects requested of you from time to time.


Must have requirements to be successful in this role:
  • Preferably minimum of 10 years of professional prospecting experience in the alternative or traditional investment space is required, ideally with established connections in the region;
  • Strong consultative sales abilities with strong orientation to new business development;
  • Ability to build relationships and a strong history of raising assets in the Nordics region;
  • Well-developed 'sales skillset' and the ability to engage in dialogue with senior investment and finance professionals, as well as with clients;
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with high energy and passion; a self-starter;
  • Preferably fluent in at least one Nordic language;
  • Open to travelling, as required to support client engagement and business development.
