We're looking for an experienced pricing analyst to join our London based pricing team.

The base
We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We're close to our clients, in the heart of the UK's financial centre. And we have everything we need to work flexibly.

The team
The Data Management group comprises 4 teams, Client & Portfolio, Securities, Index, and Pricing. The group is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of data to facilitate the Investment and client reporting processes. Services are provided directly to internal clients across Investment, Distribution and Infrastructure divisions within the firm.

What you'll do
• Ensure the delivery of comprehensive, timely and accurate, shared operational pricing data throughout the business
• Ensure the timely resolution of queries and pricing issues or the appropriate escalation of issues to best achieve this goal
• Review daily exception reports, missing price reports, maintaining spreadsheets for manual pricing, researching appropriate prices for illiquid securities
• Appropriate escalation of any potential issues
• Assist Line Manager in project work and ability to lead team in Line Managers absence.
• Co-ordinate pricing for periodic client valuation reporting
• Co-ordination of vendor queries and monitoring resolution and vendor service
• Daily Liaison with Global Data teams and Strategic Business Partner over handover issues
• Maintain regulatory data around Pricing/Valuation including Fair Value Levels
• Specify IT change requirements, participate in UAT
• Maintain, document, disseminate and apply specialist knowledge within the pricing team (including; systems, data flows and/or market practices)

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
• Degree or equivalent or Previous valuation experience
• Has a full understanding of the impacts of the pricing function on data consumers
• Strong knowledge of Corporate Action Event valuation methodologies
• Strong knowledge of OTC derivative products including valuation methodologies
• Understanding of Portfolio Accounting and Client Valuation reporting processes
• Excellent PC skills, particularly Excel and Word, PowerPoint
• Experience of using Data Vendors i.e. Markit Valuations portal, Refinitiv/Eikon, Bloomberg, ICE
• Experience with Aladdin, Markit EDM, SimCorp Dimension

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
• CFA or IMC would be advantageous
• Working knowledge of VBA/SQL helpful
