Experienced Long Only Investment Analyst - Asset Management - London

A prestigious, long standing equity asset manager based in West London are expanding their team of investment analysts.

With over 2 decades of track record and sustained growth, they seek to add an experienced equity analyst with a passion for equities and a value-based approach. The position sits within the investment team of 9 analysts and 1 key decision maker and is required to have prior buy side experience. This is a research heavy role with 8-% of the analyst time spent on current holdings and the remaining 20% on generating new ideas.
Requirements:
• At leas 5 years of buy side experience on a long-only fund
• A background or interest in value investing
• Generalist experience and the ability to pick up and grasp any industry sector
• CFA Charterholder
Responsibilities:
• Deep-dive, fundamental equity research across a range of industry sectors
• Collaboration with portfolio manager and other analysts
• Idea generation for new portfolio holdings
• Stock pitch presentations to portfolio manager
