Portfolio Anaytics (Performance & Risk) - Consultant / Sales Engineer / Subject Matter Expert

Our client is a leading investment fintech company providing front & middle office solutions for Investment Banks, Asset Managers, Hedge Funds and Fund Administrators etc, looking for a portfolio risk & performance attribution expert to join their growing multi-asset solutions team. As they expand their propositions and see continued exponential sales growth, as part of continued expansion plans they're building out their US operation with an additional Sales Engineer, working as an integral part of the sales team as a subject matter expert / portfolio & risk analytics consultant.

It's a critical role working closely with the sales team using your expertise in portfolio risk analytics to consult with clients as part of their evaluation processes including:
- Building strong relationships with prospects to understand their investment processes and requisite portfolio analysis, performance attribution and risk mangement requirements.
- Preparation and execution of product presentations ranging from standard demonstrations to prospect type workshops and proof of concepts to meet their portfolio analysis needs.
- Assist with the preparation and completion of proposal responses (RFP, RFI etc) in partnership with the Account Executives.
- Provide feedback to product management of any trends or consistent requests from prospects that will drive new product innovation and functionality.

Appropriate candidates will have the following experience and skills:
- Domain expertise in portfolio analytics and requisite technology requirements.
- Ideally you will have experience working for another risk / portfolio analytics fintech company such as; Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Qontigo / Axioma, MSCI, Confluence, SS&C, Factset, Blackrock, FIS etc. But our client will also consider someone from an investment institution in perhaps a risk analyst role, who would like to pivot using their portfolio risk expertise in a client facing role.
- This is client facing role, so must be customer focused and comfortable in such an environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex information in a clear and structured way.
- The ability assimilate client portfolio analysis workflows, identify pain points which could be overcome and present solutions to clients meeting their needs.
