As a Barclays Resilience Project Manager, you'll join an exciting new venture within the Group Resilience Team. You will be responsible for driving the successful implementation of small to medium-scale projects across Group Resilience. This will be the ideal role for you to showcase your interpersonal, communication, presentation, and influencing skills and your experience with the implementation and management of risk management processes and tools.

What will you be doing?
• You will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects within the Cyber Resilience Portfolio to plan, budget, and agreed quality and governance standards
• Managing project teams throughout the full delivery lifecycle, from business case through to initiation, requirement analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, and closedown
• Maintaining a future focus, looking ahead to ensure any risks or dependencies are tracked; ensuring that impacts on any other services/functions are considered and managed
• Building trusted relationships with a network of key stakeholders that help influence programme outcomes, acting as an advocate for the change
• Controlling the scope of projects, ensuring that rigorous change control is exercised
• Ensuring projects meet the desired requirements of Accountable Executives and that acceptance and handover to business as usual are managed against agreed acceptance
• Ensuring that all project or programme status reporting is accurate, informative, and timely
• Managing the hand-over of products and services delivered by projects being managed to the relevant operational functions

What we're looking for:
• Experience / knowledge in business and technology change delivery and resilience, with a strong understanding of these disciplines in the financial services industry
• Experience of project mobilisation, initiation, and planning in addition to management of established programmes
• Strong interpersonal skills, builds strong relationships, leads by example, motivates & empowers
• Demonstrates the ability to interpret and apply policies and standards, defining and documenting processes as well as amending existing processes

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience of working on or has an interest in Information or Cyber Security projects
• Business & Stakeholder Awareness; good understanding of the broader functions in the Bank (e.g. Technology and Operations) and stakeholders in your area of specialism
• Ability to look beyond the immediate problem, identify underlying causes of problems/opportunities; manages in a way which considers the wider implications
• Ability to identify and monitor risks and issues, to plan and implement appropriate responses for mitigation or resolution, including escalations, progressed at pace

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play.
