DevOps Platform Engineer - Quant Research / Systematic Hedge Fund (Hybrid/London)

You will join an exceptional investment and development team to built out a highly performant and scalable AWS and Linux-based infrastructure platform. You will improve their SDLC with a broad remit spanning from deployment pipeline creation to VCS integration enabling business functionality to be delivered faster and more frequently - with a focus on value-driven agile delivery balancing technology purity with pragmatism! Additional responsibilities include Python and MATLAB-based DevOps tooling, systems performance monitoring and investigation, and development environment upgrades and management.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience designing and building CI/CD deployment pipelines with GitLab and/or Jenkins.
• Strong Linux and Public Cloud experience - preferably AWS but Azure and GCP experience also acceptable.
• Experience with relational database technologies, Git, Jenkins and Docker.
• Good Python skills and if possible, MATLAB or other mathematical programming language highly desirable.
• Ability and keenness to collaborate with colleagues both in technology and the front office.
