We are currently looking for a Booking Model Controls - Data and Controls specialist to join a team focusing on booking processes, including the where and why of booking.

About the role

You will be an integral member of a control remediation workstream, working with Front Office and Technology. The role involves analysing existing controls, designs, frameworks and implementation, as well as risk assessments.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Managing end to end delivery of preventative controls
  • Preparation of Business Requirements Documents
  • Reviews against functional specifications
  • Define business requirements for proposed controls in order to meet the regulatory commitments and business objectives
  • Conduct testing to ensure that delivered functionality meets business requirements
  • Plan and execution of seamless go-live of new controls
  • Partner with Business to produce communications and guidance around controls go-live for relevant stakeholder groups, including preparation of guides and providing walkthroughs
  • Work with Audit and other Control groups to investigate control failures and drive forward control enhancement initiatives


Who are we looking for?

Qualifications & Experience  
  • Strong educational background - Degree (Masters would be an advantage)
  • Relevant industry experience in: Markets or ICG in-business management / FO control function, technology or other relevant change functions
  • Strong working knowledge of front to back trade flow across Markets trade instruments
  • Experience of working with large sets of data and running statistical analysis for presentation
  • Experience in working on controls related change, working with technology
  • Subject matter expertise in Markets traded products and related control principles
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
