Responsibilities:
  • Generate fundamental research for the industrials sector within global fixed income markets using fundamental analysis to evaluate individual names / stocks across the mining and metals sector
  • Use this research to contribute investment ideas that generate positive alpha for clients' investments
  • Assess the relative value of the bonds issued as part of the research process
  • Engagement with ESG analysis in your process
  • Publish periodic research notes that highlight your recommendations
  • Design, build, and execute models relating to your sector and research
  • Act as lead in committees, internally and externally, working with wider teams as well as in team meetings and in client meetings
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the industrials sector within fixed income
  • Work collaboratively with traders, portfolio managers, and other analysts

Requirements:
  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • CFA Charterholder as preferable
  • Strong previous experience as a Credit Analyst
  • Good experience with modelling and relative valuations
  • Good understanding of fixed income
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Experience with mining and metals, industrials, or energy sectors
