About this role

Aladdin Wealth Tech - AWT's mission is to help wealth management firms transform their businesses through technology while crafting tech revenues and product flows for BlackRock and differentiating us as a strategic partner to clients.

The Client Enablement Specialist - Digital Engagement & Adoption for EMEA is mainly responsible for ensuring high adoption of our digital wealth applications (Portfolio Centre-Portfolio 360 & Fund Buyer Portal) through developing digital campaigns, trainings and other digital content driving client engagement. The role focuses on carrying out the strategy for Tech-enabled distribution to engage with Blackrock's EMEA iShares-Wealth (iSW) clients as well as relevant players in the wealth ecosystem such as platforms in a targeted and scalable communication approach. Portfolio Centre-Portfolio 360 is providing clients access to professional portfolio analysis technology powered by Aladdin. It launched in EMEA in July 2021 with a focus on onboarding clients in the UK, Germany, and Switzerland. Broader roll-out across EMEA planned for H2/2022.

AWT's digital wealth solutions enable its clients to scale their portfolio review process in order to get clarity to make better informed investment decisions. While at the same time allowing iSW sales teams to engage clients with tailored discussions using data insights. Thus, the role is client-facing to drive client adoption of the solutions through targeted digital campaigns at scale. Moreover, it is encouraged to engage meaningfully with AWT's partners in iSW, BPAS, BII and Marketing.

This role will report to the Head of Client Enablement EMEA. It will work also closely with the AWT development teams and the Sales Enablement team which are also part of the EMEA AWT organisation.

Key success factors will include the ability to think E2E, kindness for clients to identify friction, and to digitally engage with our clients and users to drive adoption and increase engagement by combining effective campaigns and content expertise with portfolio construction and investment solutions insights.
Key Responsibilities
  • Implement vision and roadmap for Client Enablement and its digital wealth solutions to drive tech-enabled distribution for the firm and to gain a leadership position in the EMEA asset and wealth management space through technology
  • Develop and complete a content strategy for our digital wealth applications as well as targeted engagement campaigns at scale via digital channels or direct client engagement
  • Develop collateral and education materials to enable AWT/BLK iSW sales functions to broaden client acquisition efforts
  • Demonstrate content from BPAS, BII and BlackRock marketing and then tailor for our digital wealth applications in the area of portfolio construction insights and effective Portfolio 360 usage
  • Build and run training campaigns for our strongly growing user base via digital tools, aka videos, webinars etc.
  • Analyse user behaviour of our digital application to identify user patterns and friction in the UX to better understand our users and translate findings into product evolution.
  • Drive usage pattern based digital campaigns for broader tool adoption or BLK products via digital tool content
  • Build regular outreach campaigns to users via tailored email communication
  • Establish effective communication measures to user base to drive engagement & adoption.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS required; Focus in Digital Marketing with a strong background in Business, Finance, or related fields preferred
  • 3+ years of financial services / FinTech experience desired; experience and success in a B2B digital marketing/content creation role preferred
  • Appreciation for clients and strong creative skills to build digital collateral
  • Excellent communication, English language and presentation skills with a phenomenal capability of communication with clients in a scalable fashion
  • Ability to build collateral in a second language (German, French, Spanish or Italian) is considered a plus
  • Experience with driving insights from web traffic tools like Adobe Analytics to build campaigns
  • Solid understanding of the concepts of portfolio construction, investment solutions and the usage of digital tools to achieve better investment outcomes
  • First touchpoints with Aladdin methodology (ex ante risk, parametric returns) considered to be a plus (not a must)
  • Commercially focused and data-driven to better serve our clients
  • Ability to present user insights to a wide range of audiences including business leaders, technology, and senior management
  • Passion for technology and how it enables the transformation of our go-to-market
