Corporate Actions Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CA leader to work across all asset classes in a global organisation and create value in one of the largest asset management operations in the world. This role will report to the Head of Operations, EMEA.

In this role, you will:

• Lead staff, cultivating an inclusive, motivating, and high performance environment
• Perform operational oversight and serve as escalation point
• Drive process improvements
• Provide expertise and thought leadership for a broad scope of internal partners on projects
• Assess broad impacts of, and advise on, industry trends
• Cultivate relationships across operations.
• Build cross functional partnerships to enable continuous improvement
• Build strong cross-region relationships with peers and align the CA operating model globally
• Lead the agenda for global developments in areas of expertise
• Share market and industry knowledge with a broad range of internal partners
• Develop staff investment acumen both in area of expertise and broader industry
• Play active role in staff development through mentoring and guidance of junior staff

What it takes:

• Undergraduate degree required. Graduate degree and/or Professional Certification (CFA, MBA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of Corporate Actions experience preferred. Investment Operations or related experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate high performance and develop others.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationship across borders and various internal and external groups. Ability to lead initiatives to desired conclusion.
• Expertise of corporate actions and investment operations concepts. Strong analytical capability and the ability to quickly become knowledgeable in current and future policies, practices, trends and information affecting my clients business.
• Strong client relationship, leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to drive change, generate creative approaches/solutions and the desire to shape a "best in class" global organization.
