Interim Head of Finance (Contract)

Position: Interim Head of Finance

We are currently recruiting for an exciting and challenging position as Interim Head of Finance for Private Equity firm with a strong ESG investment focus.

This is a fixed term contract role and as interim Head of Finance, you will be reporting to the CFO, but you will have responsibility for managing the finance team and all of the accounting and reporting activities for the funds and the management company.

The private equity funds are multijurisdictional and incorporated through UK, Guernsey, and Luxembourg.

Key responsibilities will include but will not limited to:

• Managing all aspects of Corporate Accounting for the management company;
  • Management accounting & management reporting
  • Statutory reporting under IFRS
  • Take the lead on the annual audits
  • Presenting performance reporting for investments at board meeting
  • Oversight of Corporate Tax and VAT submissions

• Fund Finance Activities;
  • Oversight of fund administrators, ensuring the fund accounting is executed to a high standard
  • Quarterly investment reporting for the funds
  • Manage relationships with portfolio investment companies
  • Compliance and AIFM oversight

To be considered for this role you must;

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA)
• Have 10 years+ experience working directly within Private Equity investment funds
• Have managed finance teams
• Be pragmatic with a hands on approach and be an excellent communicator

Fixed Term Contract for 12 Months

Salary: £100,000-£130,000 + Bonus
