Asset Servicing Event Management AVP

As a Barclays Asset Servicing Event Management, you will be working as part of a team that leads the Oversight of the full end to end Asset Servicing process whilst supporting the Functional Lead with the day to day management of the Vendor & key stakeholders. You will also support delivery of enhancements to the operating model and infrastructure, in partnership with our key internal and external stakeholders.

What will you be doing?
• Supporting delivery of enhancements to the operating model and infrastructure, in partnership with our key internal and external stakeholders
• Performing complex analysis on the volumes and process flow to identify the root cause if non-compliance and or issues are encountered
• Providing Oversight of the third party vendor across all Asset Servicing functions
• Demonstrating an excellent level of service in a large-scale, matrix organization whilst awareness of cost control agenda
• Working within and contribute to a diverse global workforce through rapid change and / in periods of uncertainty
• Supporting strategy, execute change and resolve issues across multiple initiatives

What we're looking for:
• Excellent communications both orally and via email, ability to analyse data and present in a coherent manner whilst creating and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships
• Ability to work on multiple task simultaneously managing challenging stakeholders and deadlines
• Experience producing MI & business packs for senior business stakeholders with a high level knowledge of the trade lifecycle and functions
• Experience of working within the Operations function of a top tier investment bank

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Knowledge of Asset Servicing flow
• Knowledge of securities markets including their rules and nuances
• A proven track record of being able to leverage excellent communication, influencing and relationship management skills to drive change across an organisation
• Experience of working with a third party vendor
