Our client, a leading London-based venture capital investor is currently looking to hire an Investor Relations and Communications executive to join its team. This dynamic and highly entrepreneurial team primarily invests at series A to C level across a broad range of tech sectors and geographies.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing a wide range of sophisticated investors on a global scale. The role will entail multiple elements of Investor Relations, from managing fund onboarding and closings, answering technical questions from investors, completing due diligence questionnaires from anchor investors, creating marketing documents, calculating track records, and working on special projects.
You will work closely with senior professionals across the business and have incredible exposure to all funds and products in a fast growing VC firm. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded and technically astute, with excellent project management skills.

What the job involves
- Prepare and design various marketing and fund material including teasers and presentations
- Assist prospective investors in their due diligence process by answering various types of due diligence questionnaires
- Coordinate from start to finish the onboarding / funds' closing process when welcoming new investors
- Answer investor enquiries on funds and fund administration
- Calculate return profiles of investments and funds such as NAV, IRR, TVPI, DPI & MOIC
- Market research; competition screening and fundraising trends analysis
- Other investor related projects
- Strong interest in the industry plus prior relevant experience in finance / private equity
- Solid communication skills (verbally and written)
- High emotional intelligence
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Rigorous and well-organised
- Ability to adapt to change and work under pressure
- Strong team player
