Position Description:

The Alternatives Investor Servicing team is responsible for servicing a $40B+ and growing alternatives fund platform. The team assists in the launching of new hedge funds, private equity funds and private placements. The team has daily interaction with investors, collaboration with internal stakeholders, and also assists with oversight of alternative fund administrators. We are seeking an individual for an initial 6-9 months contract with the possibility of extension/permanent role.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales, client facing, tax, product strategy group and fund administration teams globally on all aspects of client onboarding and providing extraordinary client service
  • Serve as a primary contact for European domiciled broker/dealers, assisting with inquiries from home office and/or financial advisors, and ad hoc/quarterly reporting to their operations centers
  • Be an integral member of the e-mail inquiry queue handling daily investor and internal information requests
  • Deliver accurate and timely work product and in coordination with team members
  • Assist with review of all outgoing investor correspondence
  • Provide details on cash flow reporting to support portfolio management teams
  • Support corporate goals and business/departmental initiatives
  • Coordinate and maintain fund document repositories (Private Placement Memorandums, Limited Partnership Agreements, subscription agreements, etc.)


Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the asset management industry. Private equity and/or hedge fund administration at a notable fund administrator or asset manager preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintaining a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail; ensuring that the work product is delivered completed, accurately and on time
  • Highly flexible and capable of leading and prioritizing multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • You are a results-oriented and motivated self-starter who takes ownership of your work quality
  • Intellectual curiosity with an ongoing commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
  • Outstanding analytical skills with strong problem solving skills.
