The role:
Canddiate background:
- Credit risk background from a leading bank
- Knowledge of Emerging markets
- Languages benefical
- Analysis of credit risk bearing transaction requests including unsecured Loans, FX, IRS, XCCY, Options, Trade Finance, repos, SBL & TRS.
- Assess the financial / economic situation of counterparties (including balance sheet, P&L & CF analysis).
- Prepare credit memos, make rating and approval recommendations.
- Establish risk appetite for individual counterparties.
- Actively participate in deal meetings with internal stakeholders (sales, structuring, market risk and/or legal), challenge assumptions.
- Monitor news flow and escalate relevant information to senior management.
- Proactively interact with senior management and internal support functions to communicate key issues and develop solid relationships.
- Prepare / review reports for senior management and board oversight.
