What will you be doing?

We are looking for a talented individual to work as part of the Financial Services (FS) Change & Implementation team to deliver change across the FS division, in particular:
  • Taking the lead role in the delivery of change within the FS Portfolio
  • Work in partnership with Business Analysts to successfully deliver and implement change
  • Work alongside Delivery Leads from other departments to ensure change from those Portfolios are implemented well to the Financial Services community
  • To build a professional and supportive relationship with a range of Business Representatives and Sponsors across departments (including Financial Planners, Investment Managers, and Client Administrators).

As an Implementation Manager, some of your responsibilities will be to:
  • Be responsible for the delivery of change, as prioritised by FS; support sponsors with successful articulation and realisation of their vision
  • Own and manage the integrity of the scope of the change being delivered
  • Assemble and manage resources from across the organisation to achieve delivery
  • Proactively manage key delivery risks and produce timely and appropriate responses to key delivery issues
  • Regularly report on the progress of change; ensure those receiving changes are informed and prepared and that items arrive at the most appropriate time possible
  • Perform retrospectives to continually improve and learn from previous deliveries.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Clear, logical thinking and ability to use data to better inform decision making; decision making & facilitation skills that can be used to assist senior members of staff with making quick and effective decisions
  • Self-starter skills, uses own initiative and drives the delivery of a solution; strong focus on 'can do' and ability to discuss issues in a positive and constructive manner
  • Ability to motivate & build effective multi-disciplinary teams from resources across departments; approachable attitude & able to work with people at all levels in the organisation
  • Experience of managing small and medium scale deliveries in a complex business environment
  • Change management qualification - desirable
  • Relevant wealth management industry knowledge - desirable.
