Your team
You'll be working in our Structured Financing team and be based in our London office but as part of a global team, ultimately reporting into our firm's Chief Risk Officer. Our team is responsible for independently assessing credit and market risks arising from collateralized financing activities, with a focus on securitized assets, loans, and high-yield corporates.

We also conduct counterparty stress loss analysis across a broad spectrum of products and counterparties in close collaboration with credit officers - this engages in extensive review of the collateral package pledged against the financing transactions and challenges front office recommendations to ensure transactions are consistent with UBS's risk appetite and regulatory expectations. Following deal execution, we closely monitor the risk factors pertaining to the market and credit risks associated with collateralized financing.

Your expertise
• educated to at least Bachelors degree level in a quantitative discipline; an MBA and/or CFA would be a plus
• at least 7-10 years of experience working with collateralized financing transactions, or covering credit markets in either a market or credit risk capacity
• good understanding of exposure measurement methods such as VaR, stress, correlations, and a solid grasp of credit markets with a preference in securitized assets and/or loan markets
• strong collaboration skills and an entrepreneurial mindset (you are always striving for continuous improvement and innovation)
• excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presence and ability to convey complex messages to varying audiences
