About this role:

We are looking for a Senior Lead Audit Manager to join our dynamic London-based Enterprise Functions (EF) Internal Audit Team. The EF Audit team is responsible for coverage of risks applicable to Wells Fargo entities operating in EMEA, with emphasis on the following areas Controllers, Treasury, Corporate Finance and Business Finance.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage defined audits within one or more segments of the Audit Plan.
  • Ensure audit engagements are risk based, and executed according to Wells Fargo Audit Services policies and guidance.
  • Assist in planning and organizing work in an annual cycle and project cycle.
  • Supervise and oversee assigned audits.
  • Provide timely feedback, coaching and monitoring of audit work and staff.
  • Develop and maintain solid business relationships within Wells Fargo Audit Services and with teams across Wells Fargo, and other stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in Audit, Risk, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • BA or BS degree with courses taken in audit, business, finance, accounting or computer science a clear advantage
  • CIA/IIA/CISA or equivalent
  • An MBA or professional certification (either ACA/CPA, CFA or equivalent) is a plus, as is previous corporate treasury, finance or regulatory reporting experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of at least one of the following: treasury, regulatory and financial reporting, business finance.
  • Knowledge of banking regulatory/supervisory frameworks and relevant products.
  • Ability to lead high risk and complex projects/initiatives.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and think critically about audit approaches and coverage strategies.
