Job Purpose Statement

Where you'll fit in & what our team goals are....

In this role you will retain existing predominantly tier 3 pooled UK Institutional clients through proactive maintenance and development of relationships with both clients and their consultants.

You will build relationships with new clients won by the wider UK Institutional Business, cross sell to existing clients where possible and participate in the origination of new business and the sales process.

Role Responsibilities

How you'll spend your time....
  • Maintain a log of client tiering across the team and ensure service delivery consistent with each client's status
  • Manage the book of clients you have responsibility for through:
    - Understand the client and their requirements
    - Take every opportunity to improve the client experience
    - Delivery of SLA in respect of client tiering
    - Ensure timely response to day to day queries
    - Escalate issues as appropriate
    - Communicate investment strategy ideas and market intelligence in a pro-active manner
  • Be an advocate for the client within BMO
  • Seek the status of trusted adviser with clients
  • Leverage the time and resources of the investment teams effectively
  • Ensure Salesforce accurately reflects all client details, contact activity and pipeline
  • Maintain an annual record of CPD
  • Accountable for ensuring CMBOR reflects client portfolio parameters
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of investment markets and BMO strategies in order to be able to discuss the same with clients and their consultants
  • Achieve all applicable regulatory and risk management standards defined to manage Money Laundering / Terrorist Financing and Sanctions risk


Key Capabilities

To be successful in this role you will have....
  • Experience in a similar type of sales and account management role
  • Experience and knowledge of the UK Institutional market
  • Strong communicator
