Who we are looking for
As a Client Relationship Manager within SSGA's Global Institutional Group, your role is to ensure our clients receive strong engagement and exceptional service across the full lifecycle of their experience with SSGA. You are responsible for managing your own book of client relationships in addition to working in partnership with an Account Executive for strategic partnership clients, and anticipating, understanding and addressing your clients' needs on a day-to-day basis. You must also build strong relationships across the broader sales, operations, legal, compliance and other internal teams critical to the end-to-end client lifecycle, from initial contact, to on-boarding

What you will be responsible for
As the Client Relationship Manager you will be:
  • Key point of contact for Institutional clients, ensuring highest level of client satisfaction, in addition to working collaboratively with the Account Executive for Strategic Partnership clients, to define the client plan and working on the day to day client management aspects of the plan
  • Taking a lead role with a book of clients, with proactive engagement with the executive clients and their investment consultants focused on client retention
  • Presenting to clients and their investment consultants as part of periodic investment review, due diligence and new proposition meetings
  • Proactively maintaining salesforce for dedicated client book, ensuring contacts, new opportunities or risks are recorded promptly
  • Managing the overall client onboarding, ensuring appropriate expectation is set with clients and then delivering on the expectation and getting revenue over the line as effectively as possible
  • Demonstrating risk excellence through adhering to a robust compliant culture
  • Effectively communicating with colleagues within the organisation to include but not limited to investment, operations, legal & compliance teams, with a view to maximising opportunities and mitigating threats

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • A degree in a related discipline and an investment qualification (IMC required, CFA preferred)
  • FCA certified role

Additional requirements
  • Experience of Institutional and or Wholesale clients/dealing with clients
  • Experience with Institutional pensions (DB and DC)
  • Experience of client lifecycle
  • Hybrid working role
