About our client
We are currently partnering with a global private equity firm which is looking to hire a Management Accountant in its London office, reporting to the Finance Director. This role will provide support on all aspects of financial reporting, corporate accounting, financial planning, analysis & tax. Whilst the role will mainly be focused on the corporate entities the industry-leading Finance Director may also require some assistance in relation to fund accounting and administration.

We are currently partnering with a global private equity firm which is looking to hire a Management Accountant in its London office, reporting to the Finance Director. This role will provide support on all aspects of financial reporting, corporate accounting, financial planning, analysis & tax. Whilst the role will mainly be focused on the corporate entities the industry-leading Finance Director may also require some assistance in relation to fund accounting and administration.
What the job involves
- Prepare the quarterly management accounts for the MML corporate group entities
- Assist with the preparation of financial information for board and management meetings
- Key role in the year-end audit for the UK and Irish entities. Help to manage the relationship with the external auditors
- Provide assistance with all corporate accounting processes and policies for all operating units in the group
- Assist with financial statement production across the UK and Irish entities
- Assist with the preparation and review of the annual group budgets; and support management decisions through both regular and ad hoc forecasting and business analysis
- Assist with tax reporting processes
- ACA / ACCA or similar financial qualification
- Previous experience within financial services, particularly a funds environment, is desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management and task prioritisation skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and without supervision
- Accuracy with excellent attention to detail
