Description
- Liaise with business sponsors and users to capture business requirements and provide functional specifications
- Define, coordinate and execute front to back business level testing and the validation of new business-critical functionalities and/or bug fixes
- Daily engagement with users to gather feedback and details about the usage of the applications maintained by the team
- Provide and maintain user guides
- Liaise with Development teams to ensure accurate functional coverage and validate test scenarios
- Ensure all functional requirements are fully satisfied to a high quality prior to release
- Identify and escalate risks and issues
Profile
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst, or strong experience as a Business Analyst with PM experience, or ex-Software Developer with relevant experience in a trading environment
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills as well as reporting capabilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
- Experience in defining and executing end-to-end tests on trading systems
- Experience in defining and detailing acceptance criteria
- Experience with working with in-house development teams
- Experience working in an Agile delivery methodology
- Experience of working in a formal project process methodology
- Familiarity with defect logging systems and defect testing and re-testing cycles
- Experience working with distributed teams
- Experience co-ordinating activities within an enterprise environment
- Strong SQL
