Who we're looking for
This role reports jointly to the Head of the Investment Services Platform Team and the Head of Investment Platform Strategy Management who manages the Sustainability Exco. The Exco is responsible for developing and overseeing delivery of our group level Sustainability strategy. This role will also be accountable to the Head of Sustainable Investment Management.
Our overarching objective is to achieve the firm's ambition of Sustainability Leadership. Fundamental to this is the development of a scalable ESG platform including our proprietary ESG models & third party data, active ownership database and Schroders IQ research platform. This forms an essential part of our overall Sustainability proposition across investment, product, reporting and client engagement.

What you'll do
The primary focus is management of ESG platform strategic delivery. This will require frequent interaction with the business and delivery teams globally to maintain the roadmap aligned to strategic priorities of the Sustainability Exco and the Investment Platform. Key responsibilities include:
Budget oversight & delivery alignment
• Management of the ESG Platform Oversight meeting chaired by the Head of Sustainable Investment Management. Escalation of items requiring resolution in a timely manner
• Facilitate discussions across research teams, data management, data analytics, product managers, technology and operations to surface regular prioritisation and track delivery progress against strategic goals
• Secure and deploy appropriate resources and expertise (through matrix management) to support delivery in line with budget.
• Direct line management responsibility for change resource aligned to the ESG Platform within the Investment Platform Services Team.
• Assign and prioritise outcomes within implementation teams following an agile delivery process. Play a lead role in delivery planning events (quarterly planning, periodic sprints) and ensure deliverables are to the required quality
Project Management
• Create and review detailed reports on the programme status aligned to the Sustainability Programme. Identify, record and own the mitigation of risks and issues relevant to the programme.
• Facilitate prioritisation across multiple products and transpose focus to delivery teams.
• Regular reporting to stakeholders and input into the Sustainability Programme workstreams including investor groups, reporting and regulations to ensure alignment.
