About our client
We are working with an exciting deep tech venture fund that has been hugely successful within the market. Now on target to finish raising their fourth fund of €200mn, this is an exciting time to join an ever-growing and highly successful team in London. Our client targets series A companies across Europe within the deep tech space.
What the job involves
This role will be to work within the London team to help with research, origination and execution of deals and also help support the portfolio companies.

• Source the most amazing deals and contribute to all aspects of the deal flow, from sourcing to evaluation of potential investments.
• Evaluate leads by providing detailed company and sector research and analysis. This includes building a hypothesis of where the market is moving and supporting the hypothesis with extensive validation with the network of experts and industry players.
• Support partners with moving towards decision making based on due diligence
• Prepare materials for the investment committee
• Work on various topics to build thesis for investment in a certain area (such as Artificial Intelligence or quantum computing)
• Cultivate and build our network
• Help to create value for the portfolio
• Ad-hoc and on-demand research and analytics

Who we are looking for

• The perfect candidate will have a degree in a technical subject such as computer science, AI, machine learning, and software engineering
• Strong commercial mindset with experience working within the finance space from banking, consulting, investing, start-up/scale-up industries
