Multi-Asset Implementation Manager

We are working with a leading asset manager that is looking to hire a Multi-Asset Implementation Manager/PM to be part of their successful implementation team, which is responsible for managing a wide range of portfolios in line with the investment strategy set by the Portfolio Managers.

In this role, the focus will be on helping manage multi-asset portfolios (mostly long-only) for the team (£100bn+ AUM), while also making the best use of technology to deliver scale while enabling innovative, connected thinking such that we can deliver our investment objectives with minimal process risk.

There will also be a focus on helping improve the team's capabilities to manage core portfolio management activities across a wide set of portfolios consistently, whilst also ensuring they adhere to regulatory requirements, as well as the mandate restrictions agreed with clients.

The ideal candidates will also have a passion for the effective use of technology, data science and visualisation tools to drive process efficiencies across the wider team

Responsibilities:
  • Consistent monitoring and management of investment portfolios
  • Day-to-day management of the portfolios:
  • Reviewing and considering cashflows impact on portfolios.
  • Responsible for maintaining equity, FX, rates, and credit exposures via physical holdings and derivatives across the portfolios.
  • Building a close working relationship with the portfolio management teams to ensure the efficient management of portfolios

Requirements:
  • Good knowledge and understanding of derivatives
  • Good top-level knowledge of multi-asset investing
  • Experience engaging with technology and key stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong Python experience (with strong library knowledge)
  • A passion for technology and it's in improving investment and portfolio management processes
  • A passion and/or strong interest in ESG
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in a calm, professional manner in a faster-paced environment.
  • An understanding of asset management and financial markets
  • Experience working with Blackrock's Aladdin platform (strongly desirable but not required)
