Job Purpose Statement

Where you'll fit in & what our team goals are....

In this role you will be responsible for the day to day management of the UK Housing Fund. This BMO/CTI's first impact real estate product and marks the platforms evolvement into a real assets solution focused business. The Fund has been designed to design, build and operate housing across the UK for low to middle income households. The Fund has a market leading ESG Impact framework fully incorporated into the investment management process. The role requires someone willing and able to evolve the housing delivery model and therefore able to lead engagement with stakeholders through the capital raising, strategy execution and operation process. The Fund is open to UK and International institutional investors.

Role Responsibilities

How you'll spend your time....

• Responsible, alongside the Fund Director, for the day to day running of the UK Housing Fund.
• The role will include responsibility for the management of a UK residential property fund including evaluating investment opportunities, managing transactions, supporting developments and operational assets.
• Working with the Fund Director to set the Fund direction including investment strategy, partner alignment and culture.
• Working with the Fund Director and Head of Sustainability, be responsible for setting, policing and implementing the ESG Impact Policy of the Fund
• Working with the Head of Residential Delivery to source for the Fund to align developments to the product and manage their transition to operation
• Working with the Fund Accountant to manage the external and internal reporting cycle, cash management throughout the structure and external service providers (fund controller, legal, tax, AIFM, LUX & UK administrators)
• Working with the Fund Director to manage the Fund structuring, leverage (where appropriate) and reporting
• Engagement with stakeholders, potential partners and policy makers e.g. Local Authorities, Industry bodies (investment, housing, local government)
• Support capital raising, investor relations, marketing, promotion and editorial
• Authorisation of expenditure on behalf of the Fund.
• Authorisation of budgeted BMO REP expenditure to [£5,000.]
• Subject to delegated authority, to approve legal documents, operational agreements, construction contracts, leases, rent reviews on behalf of Client Funds.
• Any other duties that are deemed necessary that may occur from time to time.
