My client is a top tier global Private Equity Investment Management firm with more than 700 staff across thirteen offices around the world and AUM of more than $80 billion investing into Direct Investments, Fund of Funds, Real Estate and Private Debt.
This role sits within the 'Fund of Funds' Fund Finance team in London, which is made up of 30 people. The role will oversee and manage all of the analytical, financial, accounting, reporting and regulatory aspects of an investment fund and will report to the Head of Fund Finance.

This role sits within the 'Fund of Funds' Fund Finance team in London, which is made up of 30 people. The role will oversee and manage all of the analytical, financial, accounting, reporting and regulatory aspects of an investment fund and will report to the Head of Fund Finance.
The Analyst/Associate will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Portfolio reporting and monitoring
- Analysis of portfolio and investors performances
- Preparation of quarterly valuations
- Preparation of Management Report, Marketing Presentation, Advisory Board Slides, and Diversification Reports
- Participation to the closing of new investment deals, including modelling, ongoing monitoring, compliance with the regulations and coordination with internal teams (Front Office, Legal, Client Servicing)
- Compliance with new reporting standards and auditors requirements
- Ensure communication with all stakeholders and offices as well as having oversight for the third-party external fund administrators, auditors, legal teams, banks and other third parties
- Review of monthly and yearly reporting including financial statements
- Debt monitoring, repayment and reporting both internally and externally
- Legal, regulatory and tax oversight around the fund of funds environment
- Use of IT tools to their full extent to fulfill the above duties
Candidate Profile
The Analyst/Associate will meet the following criteria:
- Excellent academic background (MSc from a top University would be a plus)
- 2 - 5 years audit or finance experience in a fast-paced working environment ideally in one of the following areas - Accountancy Practice, Corporate Finance, Asset Management, Private Equity, Financial Institutions
- ACA / ACCA / part qualified or fully qualified
- Experience from a Big 4/Top 10 practice with exposure to financial services accounting would be a plus
- Alternatively, someone could be already working within Private Equity, Asset Management, other financial services
- Proficient in Excel
- Knowledge of Financial Modelling (vba) would be a plus
- Keen interest in Private Equity and looking to develop a career in a fast-paced environment
