Principal Responsibilities
  • Management of ESG ratings models for sovereign, municipal and securitized bond issuers as well as the ESG-labelled bond framework.
  • Mentoring associate analysts covering sovereign, municipal and securitized bond issuers.
  • Conducting ESG analysis of fixed income issuers, which includes collecting data and researching specific environmental and/or social issues impacting the issuer.
  • Writing ESG related reports for both internal and external use.
  • Participating in conference calls to review issuers' ESG profiles and assisting Research Analysts in evaluating ESG factors that impact their coverage.
  • Attending investment conferences and field trips, and reporting key findings.
  • Meeting with clients to represent T. Rowe Price's fixed income ESG capabilities.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
  • Strong and demonstrable ESG experience
  • Fixed income investment experience
  • Strong writing skills
  • Candidate should be highly motivated, with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:
  • Competitive nature / team player
  • Experience with market data services (ex. FactSet, Bloomberg etc.)
  • CFA designation or equivalent
