Someone who will assist with accurately and efficiently on-boarding new accounts to the Securities Lending and Foreign Exchange business platforms

What you will be responsible for
As Database Management , Officer you will
  • Add, update and maintain client profiles on various systems via direction from the Client Services Support Client On-boarding team.
  • Maintain client and broker lending/borrowing limits as reported by Custody groups and Client Services Support using various tools, including Excel Macros.
  • Ensure accuracy of client static data and account set up on transaction systems.
  • Assist with issue resolution around static data client set up within various applications for Securities Finance.
  • Interact with various groups including Client Services Support, Account Management, Operations, Trading, Legal and Compliance.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy while producing timely work in a manual processing environment.
  • Daily oversight of GIC DBM team at State Street India.
  • Monitor Wall Street System settlement queues throughout the day and escalate any past value records.
  • Verify daily staff coverage for all tasks at the SSB India and escalate shortages.
  • Ensure accuracy of client static data and account set up on transaction systems by performing sample review of SSI's added and amended by GIC DBM team.
  • Ensure compliance with State Street FTTOP procedure by reviewing all Callbacks performed by the team.
  • Assist with issue resolution around static data set up within various applications for Foreign Exchange.
  • Interact with various groups including Client Services Support, Account Management, Operations, Trading, Legal and Compliance.
  • On a daily basis perform quality assurance checks (New accounts 10% validation check)
  • Ensure all reports are completed on time by GIC DBM team.

  • Strong computer skills including competence in Excel, Access, front office input systems and other relevant applications.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant experience in Business/Financial Services industry
  • 4-6 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably with a background in client onboarding or account opening
  • Securities Lending experience a plus
  • Must be able to work as part of a team to ensure all work is completed within designated timeframes
  • Must be able to multi-task and reprioritize as time critical issues arise
  • Strong attention to detail in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Must demonstrate strong communication skills and a client service oriented attitude and interpersonal skills to support clients and issue resolution
  • Expert knowledge with Microsoft excel, Microsoft Access and SQL
  • Expert knowledge around identifying and creating process improvements
