Job Description
Marketing Executive - Investment Banking

Role purpose

The purpose of this role is to both manage marketing content review process across print and digital mediums (literature and web pages), and to support the delivery of marketing plans and campaigns promoting investment capabilities and funds. This role will work across all channels and jurisdictions using the full range of marketing tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management of content tracking and review cycle across print and digital mediums, establishing a schedule for the regular updates of core marketing materials.
  • Work with Head of Digital to support programme of continual enhancement, including (but not limited to) websites and social media strategy.
  • Provide back up support for annual industry award submissions and the delivery of the awards communication plan to internal and external audiences.
  • Monitor and report on the results of marketing campaigns, measuring behaviour to assess both campaign success and broader user behaviour, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements to drive engagement.
  • Engage with marketing managers to deliver marketing plans and campaigns to promote investment capabilities and funds across all channels and jurisdictions.
  • Opportunity to work across a full range of marketing tools including (but not limited to) our website, physical and virtual events, email, video, webinar, podcast and social media.
  • Involvement in a variety of ad hoc marketing projects.

Essential Criteria
  • Understanding of investment products, including familiarity with various asset types: equity, fixed income, multi asset, property, cash, derivatives.
  • Experience of marketing to all UK client types for asset management firm.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build and develop parentships with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills - ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure all clients are treated in clear and consistent manner with adherence to TCF principles.

Desirable Criteria
  • A relevant university degree or equivalent marketing or financial qualification.
  • Digital marketing experience in the investment management or financial services industry.
  • Marketing analytics experience.
  • Writing skills, with evidence of financial services expertise.
  • Previous experience of Adobe, Episerver (CMS), Photoshop, Microsoft Dynamics (CRM), Concep (email), BrightTalk (webinar) would be advantageous.
