  • Accountable for engagement with investee companies in accordance with our voting practices
  • Understand the evolving RI data and infrastructure options and support the identification of relevant opportunities
  • Manage a small, growing team of colleagues working on engagement, regulatory initiatives, and projects to enhance RI integration
  • Work with the existing SRI team to expand our voting practices and lead the group's stewardship and engagement strategy

To be successful in this role, you should:
  • Extensive experience of working at a senior level with or within wealth and/or investment management firms
  • Previous experience working in sustainable finance with a deep understanding of and interest in sustainability issues, including the integration of sustainability and ESG factors into business strategy and investment processes
  • Experience of leading and developing a stewardship and engagement function and related activities, including proxy voting and credible experience dealing with investee companies and fund managers and other industry collaborative engagement bodies
  • Knowledge of key industry trends and best practice, with experience advising and implementing current and emerging ESG and sustainable finance frameworks and standards (e.g. UN Principles for Responsible Investment, UK Stewardship Code)
  • Desirable experience and knowledge would also include some of the following EU/UK emerging requirements: EU Taxonomy, EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), TCFD for climate related disclosures (including pending FCA regulatory proposals for sustainable finance requirements and disclosures), UK Government Green Finance strategy and Net Zero climate related ambitions for the UK financial services sector
  • Extensive experience of operating within a robust regulatory framework, with a deep understanding of how to create a strong client-centric and conduct-focused culture

As a colleague here at Evelyn Partners you will have access to benefits that include:
  • Competitive salary
  • Private medical insurance
  • Life assurance

  • Generous holiday package
  • Option to purchase additional holiday
