- To help drive Group Strategy and Investor Relations
- To provide analytical support and thought leadership to help MANCOM develop and execute robust inorganic & organic Group strategy plans and Communicate with existing and potential investors
Principal Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Deliverables of Role:
- Helping business leaders develop strategic plans and assisting with implementation where appropriate
- Determining and clarifying strategic and operational issues via analyses and interviews
- Identifying and structuring issues of problems at stake
- Communicating complex ideas, anticipating potential objections and persuading others, often at senior levels, and other departments to adopt a different point of view
- Developing financial plans
- Undertaking market / sector / competitor research
- In charge of IR department (Communication and production of all material regarding investors and shareholders)
Job Requirements:
Knowledge
- good communication and synthesis skills (both written and verbal - PowerPoint proficient)
- Ability to build a well-structured financial model
- Good business acumen and Financial Services awareness
- Fluent English speaker- Arabic proficiency a plus
Education / Certifications
- MBA and/or Masters in finance/economics (CFA a plus)
Experience
- 5-10 years' experience in Banking and/or consulting
- M&A experience / Strategy Experience
- Experience in project management principles and the best practices leading to deliverable products that include briefings and documents
Personal Attributes
- Strong analytical skills (ability for dealing with ambiguities, excellent conceptual and structural thinking)
- Ability to work under stress and tight/short deadlines
- High energy and high emotional quotient (critical to help drive execution)
- Team player and good ability to network across the bank to get things done and influence stakeholders to deliver
- Sense of ownership and autonomous with good sense of priorities
- Self-driven and deliverables focus (ability to quickly build and deliver presentation decks independently)
