As an individual with a strong program and project management background, you will help to drive the technology strategy modernization initiatives across Markets. You will ensure robust program governance and reporting is in place, and will work with stakeholders across Markets Technology. The role requires excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to implement a structured and disciplined program management framework.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Establishing structure and control to the following program/project management activities:
    • Co-ordination of Planning & Estimating
    • Project tracking
    • Issue logging and resolution
    • Status reporting
    • Further ad hoc tasks as necessary in support of the project
  • Understanding data structures, golden sources of data, and being able to produce visualizations of that data
  • Production of KPIs/metrics to support data-led decisions
  • Collation and preparation of program governance materials
  • Contributing towards the development and enhancement of Markets modernization strategy and associated alignment with business objectives
  • Providing support and guidance to the stakeholder community
  • Identification of opportunities for standardization, best practice and continuous improvement

Expertise Required:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and with a geographically dispersed team while still delivering as required.
  • Strong organizational skills and initiative
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business and technology partners.
  • Experience with documentation/issues tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize
  • Core skills across the Microsoft Windows suite
  • Previous experience within corporate investment banking preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of CIB business processes in addition to technology preferred

Qualifications:
  • Project/programme management qualification preferred
  • Agile delivery methodology experience and qualification preferred
