The Equity Derivatives and Trading division (EDT) within Macquarie's Commodities and Global Markets group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join the COO team.

You will maximise profits and ensure a robust operating infrastructure for the EDT business by having front-to-back ownership in design, solutions, and business processes for everything relating to Equity Finance products traded by the business globally. You'll be responsible for effective co-ordination and tracking of engagements, agreements and delivery artefacts from various stakeholders including Front Office and COO team colleagues, Finance, Legal, Operations, Tax and Risk teams including Market, Credit and Compliance. Working with regional and global teams to understand and establish business priorities and strategy for the region, you will also be responsible for delivery of business initiatives from inception through to implementation, with the opportunity to take full ownership of the final product delivery.

As the successful candidate, you will have a strong understanding of Equity markets and products, specifically in relation to Over-The-Counter (OTC) products (swaps and p-notes) and Securities Finance transactions (stock loan and repo). You are equipped with exceptional analytical skills and knowledge of front to back Equity lifecycle operations, documentation (ISDAs, MCAs, CSAs, GMSLAs, GMRAs), funding, margining and collateral requirements is required, as is exposure to legal, accounting, regulatory, capital and tax drivers such as entities, treaties, limited liability, P/L, balance sheet, cash flows etc.

Having strong numeric (including Excel) skills in addition to an analytical mindset and an ability to quickly learn new products and systems, you'll thrive in a challenging constantly changing environment by demonstrating initiative, judgement, and tenacity and ensuring delivery of timely, accurate and high- quality solutions to business opportunities and challenges.
