About our client
Our client is a private capital advisory boutique that provides fundraising and investment banking services to investors in the real assets industry. They are now looking to add a hands-on, numerate Analyst/Associate to their real estate & infrastructure team to participate in the pitching and execution of capital raising and recapitalisation mandates.
What the job involves
In this role, you will directly work with senior management and will provide support in all aspects of a capital raising transaction. This is an excellent opportunity for the candidate to work with a deeply experienced team and to develop relationships with high-quality general partners, operating companies and managers of real assets and complex transactions. This role also presents the opportunity for the right candidate to transition into a capital coverage position.
  • Evaluate prospective mandates by carrying out private market research, potential investor analysis and market mapping
  • Assist in performing due diligence for potential opportunities including credit analysis and financial modelling
  • Create marketing materials including pitchbooks and portfolio snapshots
  • Provide support for transactions including developing timely responses to investor inquiries and other processes necessary to reach financial close
  • Track the team's activities with potential clients and investors and provide related deliverables
Who we are looking for
  • Strong academics with prior experience in transaction services, corporate finance, strategic consulting, investor relations or placement agents, and/or exposure to real estate or infrastructure transactions
  • Strong quantitative skills and financial modelling experience are required
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills. Excellent written and spoken English is essential; other European languages are beneficial
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work as part of a team with integrity and professionalism
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and self-motivation and able to work independently, across a variety of responsibilities and at a fast pace
