FX Market Project Manager - Financial Services Firm - London

This is an initial 18-month FTC position paying up to £120,000.

twentyAI has partnered with a world-renowned financial services firm who are looking for a project manager to join their change management function. In this role, you will be leading FX and derivative initiatives across EMEA & APAC, as well as, set-up a new legal entity, launching products and re-platforming

Key responsibilities
  • Lead complex initiatives managing all activities in a project life-cycle such as initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing associated with projects that are long-term, line of business-wide and medium to high risk, scope and complexity with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in project plans and budgets for change management
  • Initiative sizing, scoping and ensuring objectives and delivery of the International Markets Growth Book of Work against overall initiative(s) scope and overall inter-regional strategies.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and driven change portfolio that impacts the Markets Business.
  • Collaborating with the business defines the required product, operating model or infrastructure changes are with the various impacted parties and works with the project managers to build this into the roadmap and delivery plans
  • Ensure changes to the business-driven through BAU and project/programmes are sustainable and effectively embedded into business as usual.
  • Preliminary analysis to determine the most appropriate solution to achieve strategic goals, through detailed analysis of the business need, feasibility studies, benchmark/trade-off analysis, and development of high-level business requirements.

Key Skill
  • Previous experience as a project manager is essential
  • Extensive knowledge of financial products, especially FX.
  • Proven record of executing large-scale projects within the financial services sector.
  • Previous experience working in clearing is desirable
  • Good knowledge of financial regulations in EMEA is required
  • Experience in delivering within an agile environment is necessary
  • Successful track record of change management
