Your responsibilities will include:

  • Calculating and analysing the performance of client portfolios and investment funds and the distribution of this data within the Wealth Management business.

  • Calculating monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc performance return data and risk statistics. Present this data and analysis to key internal clients, providing detailed explanation of these results and performance contributors where required.

  • Completing monthly risk monitoring tasks including data validation, benchmark and portfolio tolerance checking and resolving any issues around this data by liaising with internal stakeholders and external data providers.

  • Creating and maintaining benchmark and index data, including construction of custom and blended benchmarks where required. Calculating monthly composite data, fund concentration analysis, quarterly production of third-party peer data and all other performance related information to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Advisory Solutions & Operating Office supports the activities of Advisory & Sales, with a focus on the advisory service, performance reporting, financial promotions and product communications, pricing and business management.

  • The Performance Reporting team is part of the Advisory Solutions & Operating Office team in Advisory & Sales and is dedicated to supporting the investment and portfolio management process within UBS Wealth Management.

Your expertise
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience, preferably in an analytical role in wealth or asset management
  • Prior experience of producing and interpreting performance and analytical information desirable
  • A genuine interest in and knowledge of financial markets, investments and portfolio strategies.
  • Strong quantitative skills with keen attention to detail
  • A high level of proficiency in Excel / VBA preferred.
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player comfortable in working in a small, hands-on team
