Job Overview:

The primary responsibility of this role will be to support the HR transformation project team in extraction, analysis, transformation and validation of HR data at various stages of the system implementation. This will involve gaining a good understanding of the proposed HR data structure (position, organisation, people etc.), data sources, plan & approach for migration and owning the activities related to data collection, transformation and validation.

Key objectives critical to success:
  • Work with the wider HR Transformation and SuccessFactors implementation teams to understand the to be HR data structure
  • Support mapping of current and future state data structure
  • Work with HR, HRIS and HR MI teams to develop and maintain to be people and position data to support system implementation activities
  • Coordinate with Global HRIS owner, HR MI teams to identify data source and extract data
  • Own and develop the to-be data set (positions, job, organisation etc.) applying the mapping and transformation logics agreed
  • Work with data owners, MI leads to review and validate the to-be data set
  • Coordinate with SuccessFactors implementation/data migration teams to support data load and prepare for validation
  • Work with regional leads and data owners to review/validate data post loading, identify any issues and work with the project team to resolve
  • Assist project manager to develop and maintain the plan, track and report progress, risks and issues
  • Handle any queries and outstanding issues related to people data
  • Carry out data quality checks validation and present the output to HR stakeholders to review and validate

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

The ideal candidate will have experience of HR data (positions, job catalogue, organisation structure etc.) analysis, strong working knowledge of MS Excel, data analysis tools. You should have excellent analytical skills and knowledge of data mapping, cleansing, transformation techniques. Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors and HR data migration activities will be an advantage

  • Understanding of HR system and data structure
  • Knowledge and experience of job architecture
  • Understanding of data analysis, cleansing, transform and validate process
  • Problem solving and detail oriented
  • Experience of working in HRIS, HR MI or HR system implementation environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office tools
  • Ability to develop and document procedure
  • Knowledge of SQL & other data extraction tools would be an advantage but not essential
