PMO Reporting Analyst - 2U1237

Job Description Summary

The ePMO Reporting analyst role sits within the Enterprise PMO, as part of M&G's Transformation Office and will have responsibility for preparing monthly reporting artefacts to enable governance to be administered towards successful delivery of the Change and Transformation Programme (c. 50 Programmes of Change across the organisation). An ePMO Reporting Analyst will be self-motivated and able to organise and prioritise their workload efficiently, interacting across all areas of the Transformation Office (TO). They will have strong communication and analytical skills across complex numeric and non-numeric data. In addition they will be expected to engage and liaise with a full range of business/ programme stakeholders, not only providing accurate, well written and professionally formatted reports, but also to advise, challenge and offer recommendations and solutions, ensuring key governance deadlines are met to required quality and control standards.

Purpose statements:
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G Plc operational risk.
  • To co-ordinate inputs from Change Programmes and other TO functions to deliver overall monthly reporting data.
  • To provide ongoing communication and liaison with project and programme teams to ensure they are clear on what is required by when, and ensuring they know how to use our tools, and understand and are aligned to our governance processes and controls.
  • Operate a range of ePMO related governance controls and quality / assurance analysis across Programme inputs to TO (status, plans, RAID, change control etc.) providing challenge and feedback where required, identifying gaps, trends, key messaging, and exceptions for escalation.
  • Work in collaboration with the wider TO team to ensure all key reporting outcomes are achieved to a high standard and within the required deadlines.

Knowledge statements:
  • Detailed knowledge of project methodologies, planning processes and techniques
  • Detailed knowledge of analytical and modelling tools and techniques
  • Working knowledge of industry best practice, good network/links with external bodies and individuals on the same field.
  • Understanding of the Statements of Principle and Code of Practice
  • Working knowledge of Investment business and life and pensions products, markets and competitors
  • Working knowledge of financial services regulatory and legislatory frameworks

Experience statements:
  • Strong experience in producing high quality output using the MS Office suite (primarily Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint)
  • Experience assuring change delivery documentation, spotting key issues and trends and communicating these clearly to stakeholders
  • Significant experience of MI and reporting within ePMO, programme and project environments
  • Project tooling experience e.g. ServiceNow (desirable)
