Business Development Director - Institutional Deposits
Our client is a rapidly scaling FinTech, based in London and Cambridge. Using their innovative cash asset management platform and established network of banking partners, they offer clients active management of deposits to improve security, liquidity, and returns on cash.
They're hiring to expand their Institutional Clients team to continue to deliver growth within the corporate accounts space. They've already built close ties with numerous major institutional players and this role would be focused on expanding the firm's reach across large UK-based firms. The businesses rapid growth makes this is a perfect position for someone focused on delivering a significant impact on the company's growth and to develop the role and their career, as the business evolves.
They are looking for a talented individual to lead the effort in the corporate cash space. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, have a strong background in institutional treasury networks, be sales driven and confident in developing new relationships with clients.

- Utilising your existing network of corporate decision makers and treasury teams to sell the benefits of using the businesses cash management platform
- Articulate ideas and sales strategies to help generate institutional business
- Attendance at networking events and conferences
- Being the main point of contact for new deals from your portfolio of prospective clients
- Driving the deal process, from discovery through to final close
- Keeping track of new products on offer, as well as emerging trends in the wider cash management and treasury market
- Actively maintain sales pipeline
Requirements
- Proven experience within a Head/Director of BD role ideally within FinTech, treasury services or corporate services with a B2B focus
- Minimum of 7+ years of related business development experience
- Ability to identify new business opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work with senior leadership team and develop objectives, implement new sales processes, and drive the team to deliver results
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to engage proactively with business partners
- A proven track record of sales excellence in building and closing a new business pipeline
- Results driven, with a strong sense of accountability, strong quantitative skills, and negotiation's ability
- High level of autonomy, initiative, and drive
