The Impact: This role will lead global, enterprise DEI initiatives and serve as primary DEI lead for Commodity Insights, Mobility Solutions, Engineering Solutions, Finance and Audit teams, focused on enhancing diversity, equity and inclusion, enabling S&P Global employees to positively impact communities where we work and live. Lead enterprise DEI initiatives that impact 35,000 colleagues globally, to aide in building awareness, deepening understanding and leveraging best practices for inclusion for all our people. Play a key role in bringing DEI to life in the S&P Global culture, the development of effective leaders, through tailored mentoring and coaching programs.

What's in it for You: S&P Global is seeking a Senior Director, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion that will be responsible for global execution of enterprise-wide DEI programs, policies, practices and initiatives. This critical role will serve as primary liaison with S&P Global's Commodity Insights, Mobility Solutions, Engineering Solutions, Finance and Audit teams to advance diversity, equity and inclusion. Deliver a global portfolio of DEI and engagement programs, robust internal and external communications and strategic execution of community outreach, alongside our Corporate Responsibility colleagues.

This critical role will work alongside the Chief Corporate Responsibility & Diversity Officer and as a core member of the DEI leadership team to engage with senior stakeholders across the organization to ensure strategic business alignment.

Responsibilities: At the enterprise level: The Senior Director will lead DEI enterprise activities, working across the Purpose organization and other business functions on the development and implementation of diversity, equity and inclusion strategies. Examples include: • Leadership role on DEI mentoring and coaching programs, with an enterprise lens • Primary on DEI learning strategies to upskill our people leaders, our people partners and our global leaders • Responsible for S&P Global's external benchmarks and annual surveys, which serve as a barometer for our DEI maturity and enhanced policies and practices • Develop and execute broad-based global internal and external stakeholder engagement strategy. • Ensure global relevance as we design, develop and execute regional strategies to advance DEI, accounting for local nuance and prioritization, aligned with global strategies • Provide oversight and leadership for two direct reports and serve at the division and functional level: • Accelerate DEI at the divisions/functions; aligned with enterprise and business strategy • Build and extend relationships to leadership teams; take seat at the table • Understand the divisional/functional nuance, local concerns and devise DEI interventions to address • With people partner and leadership teams - monitor and track DEI metrics, scorecards and enterprise priorities • Enable a two-way feedback loop between corporate and divisions/functions • Serve at catalyst, partner, enabler across all aspects of DEI to drive leadership and engagement

Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10+ years of experience • Proven, progressive experience in an enterprise-wide function, with demonstrated effectiveness leading global initiatives or similar diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs. • Strong leadership track record, with a global and strategic mindset • An exceptional influencer with solid interpersonal skills and executive presence • An inspirational leader who demonstrates leadership with integrity, accountability, and trust • Generate pragmatic solutions to real or potential problems and recognize and leverage key opportunities • Strong service orientation and excellent written/verbal communication skills • Ability to navigate complex environments, and help build relationships with a variety of stakeholders and organizations • Advanced program management skills including the ability to adapt to a changing environment and managing a wide variety of projects and superb budget management skills • Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience and background in a similar position and interest in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector, a plus • A passion for diversity, equity and inclusion and experience in developing and implementing innovative strategies for large organizations • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly-matrixed, geographically diverse organization

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $167,000 to $301,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
