As a Barclays Securitized Product Analyst, you will liaise with multiple teams and functions, both internally and externally. including predominantly Trading, Structuring, internal support functions, custodians and clients to facilitate timely agreement/settlement of new trade and life-cycling events. In the middle office your responsible for trade validation and exception management to ensure an accurate representation of the trade has been captured in the books and records for onward settlement and reporting.

We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

What will you be doing?
• You will be responsible for new deal closing, coordinating across multiple teams to facilitate timely settlement
• Tying out the trade booking with the end client/deal documentation to ensure the details are accurately captured internally
• Responding to internal and external queries and facilitate resolution of issues
• Establishing the documentation and maintain departmental procedures and system requirements
• Identifying, escalating, and define systems or process gaps and seeking opportunities for enhancement and remediation

What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Established Financial Services Industry experience and have Experience of Bonds & Commercial/Residential Loan Support
• Display attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent problem solving skills and show ability to define a problem and think of creative solutions

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Good knowledge of the front to back process in an environment of investment banking
• Be able to influence others and working under pressure independently and be detail oriented
• Have an understanding of operational risks and when to escalate appropriately
• Have a proven ability to build, maintain and enhance relationships at all levels including interacting effectively with other key areas within the bank e.g. IT, MO, FO, Ops Control
