My Client, a well known International bank in the City, seek an Associate level Loan Markets individual to join their team in London.

Main Responsibilities :
  1. Preparation of the monthly EXCO presentation.
  2. Preparation of the monthly market update to the Bank's branches and Head Office.
  3. Preparation of the monthly ALCO presentation.
  4. Preparation of league table submissions on closed deals.
  5. Preparation of case studies/credentials slides on closed deals.
  6. Maintaining deal tombstones for all closed transactions involving roles with MLA title or above which will be used for internal and external presentations.
  7. Assisting in the preparation of client presentations.
  8. Assisting in the preparation of various search requests linked to outstanding deals, pricing comparative analysis and loan maturity analysis for refinancing opportunities.
  9. Assisting with the preparation of invitation letters to investors when the Bank is acting as a Bookrunner.
  10. Assisting with the preparation of Info Memos on live deals when the Bank is acting as a Bookrunner.

Specific Accountabilities :
  1. To assist in the origination, development, marketing, negotiation and execution of transactions with the Bank's clients in the UK and across the EMEA region.
  2. To manage all the administrative and reporting activities including maintenance of the deal pipeline, maintenance of the fee report linked to closed deals and maintenance of a spreadsheet on all financing opportunities discussed with the Bank's branch network.
  3. To prepare a number of internal and external presentations on a regular basis.

Suitable candidates will possess/need to demonstrate :
  • Good knowledge of the syndicated loan market;
  • Sound credit knowledge;
  • Understanding of all relative market developments and trends across the range of borrower/asset type including products, structures, pricing, documentation, participants & investors;
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to use own initiative and capability to manage a variety of competing tasks and issues, prioritising appropriately and escalating where necessary;
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate confidently and credibly, both orally and in writing;
  • Diligence (attention to detail) and high productivity;
  • A team player with a hands-on attitude combined with a collaborative, problem-solving approach;
  • Ability to work well at all levels internally including with senior management and functional areas;
